Streonshalh (the old Viking name for Whitby) is a Victorian semi-detached house built in 1893 retaining many original features. Situated at the top of the village, Mount Pleasant South is the first street on the right past Station Road Stores/Post Office. Full English breakfast is served in the spacious dining room with individual tables and working coal/log fire for those frosty mornings. All guests are offered fresh fruit salad, choice of cereals before a cooked breakfast using free range eggs and local hand made pork sausages. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available, also continental breakfast (cheese, ham, hard-boiled eggs, croissants), please enquire on reservation for further details.
